In this period the harvest, according to initial estimates, is already giving important satisfactions to winemakers, and has come the time for La Mirandola, a company in Castellina in Chianti headed by Lorenzo Scala, to inaugurate its harvest season. A season that started on September 25th promises very well already. “Unlike other years, when we start the harvest in early October, this time we started a little early” – explains Lorenzo Scala, who points out: “Although being a biological company, we have been punctual in treatments and vineyards, not affected by any kind of atmospheric events, so they are in excellent health “. As well as the grapes that “show a good ripeness and, at a qualitative level, let they hope”. And what about the quantitative aspect? “In terms of quantity – continues Scala – we are perfectly in line with our standards”. An excellent quality-quantity ratio that constitutes an important starting point for future projects: “Fortified of the good health of the Sangiovese grapes, this year we will focus a lot on our Chianti Classico”.
